New venue and schedule!
Starting from May 2nd, our classes will take place in a gym in Yan’An Xi Road n.358 (延安西路358号3楼), 3rd floor, near Nan Jing Xi Lu (between Nan Jing Xi lu and Zhenning Lu). It’s 15 minutes walking from Jing’An Temple Subway station: exit 1, walk on the underpass to Nan Jing Xi lu and then walk until you get to Yan’An Xi lu.

From the 1st of April to the 30th of April, our temporary gym will be at the following address:
AnHua Road n.500, 2Floor (near Kaixuan Lu). (安化路500号，二楼)

Brazilian Carnival at Bar Rouge this Saturday

On the the same day of the Brazilian Carnival…. We will celebrate it as well !!!
When it’s winter – cold and grey and our mood is getting low, there is one place where the sun shines, and the world’s most colorful get underway.
Samba dancers, Capoera Capirinha and the most popular Brazilian songs followed by the most famous house Brazilian remixes!

While kung fu can turn someone into a lethal weapon, it probably won’t do much for their dance moves. Fortunately for those hoping to add some swing to their self-defence there is the latest cultural export to explode out of Brazil: the indigenous martial art known as Capoeira. At a gym near Zhongshan Park you can find Capoeiristas practicing this acrobatic martial art. Every Saturday the doors of the gym are open to those who want to give this unique sport which combines music, dancing and self-defense a try. Currently there are around 40 men and women from all over the world taking part in Capoeira Mandinga Shanghai.
