Great News for Capoeira Mandinga Shanghai!

Instrutor Pezão from Capoeira Mandinga Oakland will come to Shanghai and will teach classes during the first three weeks of April helping us to get ready for our 5^th Batizado, which will take place in Nanjing on the 21^st and 22^nd of April with the presence of our Mestre, Mestre Marcelo Caveirinha. People interested in capoeira and capoeiristas from other groups are all welcome to participate! More details will be released soon.

Hello camaras!

Our gym will be closed starting from this Saturday 21st of January until the 29th. Thanks to Rino’s help, we have a place where to train!

Place Name: City Dance 舞蹈会所（City Dance Training Center)
Address: 长宁区汇川路400弄凯旋坊创意园区5号楼(近凯旋路) Huichuan Road No.400Lane Kauxuan Fang Creative Park Area. Building 5 (go in side then turn left and go straight, you will find it)

The schedule will be the following:
– Saturday 21st: 5:00pm-6:00pm
– Tuesday 24th, Thursday 26th, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th: from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
– Starting from Monday 30th, we will be back to our usual schedule and venue.

Capoeira is great for kids. It combines martial arts, gymnastics, music and dance and provides a fun challenging workout. Capoeira is also a great tool to develop coordination, since its movements involve the entire body. Thanks to its music component, children also learn to sing in Portuguese and play the traditional Capoeira instruments. Introducing fun kids games where the elements of capoeira are incorporated, children learn many important skills including discipline, self confidence and respect.

Kids classes every Saturday from 3:15pm-4:30pm on Yan’An Xi lu n.358, 3rd floor (near Nanjing Xi Lu)

Salve gente,

During the October holidays the gym will be closed from the 1st to the 3rd of October.
On the 4th of October we will have class at 8:00pm in the evening.
October 5,6,7 class will be at 5:00pm.
From Saturday 8th we will go back to our regular schedule.

On Sunday 26th in case of nice weather there will be a roda at 5:00pm in Zhongshan Park (in case of rain the roda will be cancelled).

三天的训练课程费用总计：450人民币
单独一次训练课程的费用：250人民币
Mandinga的学生如果付了6月份的学费还可以享受打折 —— 350元 3天，180元 1天。

此外，在26号,周日，如果天气好的话，下午5点在中山公园将举办roda，假如下雨的话就取消活动。

Starting from May 2nd, our classes will take place in a gym in Yan’An Xi Road n.358 (延安西路358号3楼), 3rd floor, near Nan Jing Xi Lu (between Nan Jing Xi lu and Zhenning Lu). It’s 15 minutes walking from Jing’An Temple Subway station: exit 1, walk on the underpass to Nan Jing Xi lu and then walk until you get to Yan’An Xi lu.
